I made a critical mistake on the stand. I reinforced the front top horizontal beam with a 2x2.Its glued and screwed, not coming out.

I have 3.25" clearance from the top of the sump to the inside lip of the stand. I need to lift stand 1.5". BIGGEST problem is the floor curved I sanded the bottom of the frame so the stand wont see-saw. I dont want to do that (ever) again

Would nailing a pair of 19" long 2x4s under either edge of the stand mess with the support?

(like this, two 2x4s in red areas)

EDIT: wanted to use 2x6 no local places sell kiln dried 2x6's only KD 2x4 so revice to use a total of 4 2x4s

**the sump is going on the floor, my plan was to use a 20H or 20L sump but I couldnt fit everything have to go to a 29 or buy a lot of new equipment.

Build a 2x4 box the same size of the stand you have now... Build a second 2x4 box standing up right.. Screw the boxes together.. Turn your stand upside down.. Screw the Flat 2x box to the bottom of your existing stand. Turn it over and be Done .

BAND BOARD Sitting on sill plate only upside down...
