Help fixing water parameters

Hi guys, so I understand that it is very important to check your water parameters every so often. So far my water's been in good condition. Tap water still has high ammonia, nitrate and nitrite level. If the water parameters were too be off and needed immediate fix, how do I fix it without using too many chemicals?

The best fix would be to use an RO/DI system. If you are going to be reefing then it should be a must for one of the first things you buy.

until you get one you can go to your local fish store and buy water from them. You really don't need to use tap water though.

Thanks... i'll definitely work on that especially before I start putting any coals in.

There seem to be so many different types of RO/DI systems, which is a good one for a 75gal tank?

I work with different filtration systems for a living. By one with 4,5,6 stages of filtration, also by extra ro membrane. If your home has no softner, expect 2-4yr life span to ro membrane
