I am probably the last person who should be giving advice on how to hook up a calcium reactor because mine is still sitting in a box, but I was able to find this, if it helps.

So it looks like it should be this

With 1 being your supply water coming in from the tank, 2 being the co2 coming in, and 3 being the effluent return to the tank.

Also I guess technically the effluent line coming out of the secondary chamber goes through the valve (which shouldn’t be needed if you’re feeding it with a peristaltic pump, and then through another piece which the diagram says is a bubble counter (which I don’t know what that is for on the output of the reactor) before returning to the tank.

I look at that and wonder how people running them can say how easy it is. I won one a while ago and it's still in the box and will probably stay there because I get over whelmed when ever I start reading up on them.

I have slowly been buying stuff to set mine up but I’m going on vacation in a few weeks and don’t like to make changes to the tank before being away from it. I will set mine up once I come back.
I think I fairly reasonably understand what everything is, but only after watching a lot of videos after buying mine. At its core it’s just a tube with constant flow with a small feed line, co2 input to drop pH, and an effluent line out.

I read an article @jda wrote on setting one up. It was probably the simplist method I've read. I may give it a try one day. The upfront costs are holding me back. There is a link to his article in the 5th post here that may help. Sorry if you've read it already. It may be useful to the OP

Yes, I was looking for this thread. But far the easiest to comprehend.

They do look over whelming but once it's actually set up and running, it's easy.
