Hello to all boys; are now almost three months since I mounted the new plafo 8x54 watt, and about a month since I suspended the use of zeolite, activated carbon and fauna marin product (reef vitality, coral Balance and color elements) ...
But I still have problems with different lps as acantastree the caluastree etc. which continue to pull more and more ... the tank is the usual 120x50x50 (cm) ati 8x54w (3 blu plus 1 coral plus 1 purple plus 1 actinc 2 aquablue special) and LG600 sp double pump.
I keep the triad with balling fauna Marin :
ca 425
Mg 1300
Kh 6.5
No3 0
Po4 0.01
Fish present: 1 Ctenochaetus 1 crisptera 2ocellaris 1 splendidus 3 anthias.
It makes changes by 10% every 2-3 weeks with sea water; i use once a week 1 mL of K-Balance, and food twice a week with ultra min s reef and pepper in half doses ...
I do not understand what could be the problem ... wrong neon combos, few fish, poor coral's food (and yet you see in the glasses and the algae clumps pumps Brown sign that some pollutants there is probably?) ... I leave you to the judgments also looking at those few Sps present ... I hope to get to the bottom ..

Bump this up.
I'm not a LPS expert but off hand Id say your posted Params you don't have enough no and Po in the system. But you seem to have a lot of algae and such. Also good color and growth every where else. So you must have more than that.
Maybe a chemical warfare? Are you running carbon?
Maybe too much flow on the bottom.

Hello. no carbon use. the movement is weak on the bottom ... suitable for lps. to improve color and growth in the SPS have to increase no3 and PO4? I see them too clear and colorless.

How often are you feeding the fish? When hungry some tangs will nip at LPS, and that's what it looks like is happening, something is nipping them.

Too low of light can cause tissue recession, however so can too much light. Too low of nutrients can cause lps to become more sensitive to light as well. My lps are in medium light to medium flow, they can handle flow just not direct flow onto the flesh- these are just my experiences with lps. What is your lighting period? What temp do you run your tank at?

food fish 1 time per day with shg granulated.
Try mixing up their diet, and try feeding a few times a day. Tangs graze for food all day, and most other reef fish are designed to eat many small, frequent meals throughout the day rather than one lg one.

my period of light is 11 Total (9 hours and 30 minutes with all the lit neon 8). The tank temperature actually is 26-27 ° C

I agree with the feeding more as well. Corals will also benefit from the fish being fed more.

ok

I agree with the above, feed, feed, feed. your phosphates are right on, but nitrates need to come up. Feed enough so that the tank can consume what you are feeding in 5 minutes. I also feed the reef nutrition product of Oyster Feast, R.O.E. Roti Feast, they are specifically for the corals to have food.
