As always guys, thank you for helping the new guys out, much appreciated.

So i don't have to do a water change yet as i am still in the cycle process but was wondering when the time comes,i do not have a spare heater to heat up RO or Saltwater that i replace my tank with. It is only a nano tank 100litres) Do i need to invest or can i replace slowly and let the tank heat up the water.
Thank you.

IMO, I would get another heater. Good to have in case of emergency, where you can’t wait. Although, you may be able to take a plastic bottle and fill with hot water to help bring new water up to temp. I think it’s good to have a spare heater, just in case the one on your tank quits

I would definitely invest in a small heater for your water changes. In a nano the temperature fluctuation can be drastic if the water isn't pre heated. I used a $10 ebay heater for my mixing so you don't have to go nuts on a quality heater as it won't get much use.

you will need to buy a heater, when you take the old water out, you will have to turn off your return pump as it won’t have enough water to keep pumping so your heater in the tank will need turning off too if the water is not moving, so you can’t use that heater to heat the new water.

Thank you all for your replys, i will purchase a new heater.

Could always put hot water In A bath and put your mixing containers in that that's what I did for a while until they warmed up didnt take long either
