Can anyone identify this? It hasn't opened yet just got it home. Lfs gave it to me for free with a bubble i got. Sorry for the cell pic

Same as above. However the polyps are not out. I think it is a goniopora though. When the polyps came out you can tell the difference. Goniopora will that 24 tentacles and avleopora will only have 12.

whoops...I had the tentacle count backwards.
 
Thanks for all your help so far. The polyps are out now. I've attached a picture. I'm guessing it's 24 tentacles so it's a goniporia?

You can do either. When small they are basically filter feeders. Liquid or fine powder food. In this case just squirt it near the polyps when pumps are off. As they get bigger they can eat brine. Like all coral it is not necessary but it will grow better with feedings
