Help, goldrim struggling

ive attached a photo of my goldrim,

Just did a freshwater dip on it for 6 mins.

Setting up a QT today.

Am:0
Nitrite:0
Nitrate:5
Salinity:1.026

Will be treating the whole tank in QT to eradicate all disease in the tank.

So I lost her this morning unfortunately. Such a shame after 8 months of having her.

All I can do is try to help others deal with what I saw and when to act. I have learnt from my mistakes on not treating early.

Unfortunately my two clowns are displaying the same thing.

This took my tang in 2 days from the first sign. So now I’ve seen this on the clowns the QT is being set up now and I have Cupramine ready to go.

Spoke to the best people I could have today for a couple of hours trying to diagnose the problem, I think it could have been velvet based on behaviour and look of the poor fish.

It won’t happen again that’s for sure. We are putting together a full fish plan and stocking order to eliminate as much aggression and QTing everything before adding.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

Thanks a lot of the help. The treatment I am opting for is cupramine. I will also be reducing the salinity in the QT/Hospital tank to 1.022-23 to help with oxygenation etc.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated to safe the rest of these guys.
