HELP: Green Birdsnest's polyps pealing away

Hi experts, noticed that my Green Birdsnest's polyps pealing away from the skeleton, exposing it. Any suggestions on what I should be doing?

Also noticed some irritation signs (white cotton) covering some parts of the coral especially at the branch tip areas.

Temp 76-79
Salinity 1.025
Nitrate < .4
Alk 8-9
Ca 440
Mag 1300
Moderate light and water flow

The coral is placed in low/med water flow area.
Here are my tank/water details:
Tank: 200L AIO
Inhabitants: Mixed
Temperature: 26°C
Lighting: NemoLight
Salinity: 1.026
KH: 15 drops
PH: 8.2
Calcium: 28 drops (>520ppm)
Nitrate: 0
Nitrite: 0
Phosphate: 0
Ammonia: 0
Not testing magnesium currently.
Any recommendations based on the above.

Calcium is a little on thw higher side can reduce over time, 0 nitrates and 0 phosphate try feed a little more.. fish in the tank?

Waterchange. What salt mix do you use and what does it run at? Obviously a lower calcium level will reduce it slightly but depends on how large of a WC you do.

I am using Red Sea Coral Pro and using RO for my water source. I only dose manually as needed based on test results. Just did 25% water change 4 days ago and here are the parameters of newly prepared/mixed water (before adding it to the tank):

• KH: 16 drops (not sure why)
• PH: 8.4
• Nitrate: 0
• Nitrite: 0
• Phosphate: 0
• Ammonia: 0
• Calcium: Didn't test (I should have done it )

I doubt your calcium level would do that. I would be looking at your nitrate and phosphates, what test kit are you using?
Is your light 36watt? If so that’s not much at all for 200l tank

Correct calcium wont be the issue but still can reduce a little or what you have in the tank will consume it anyways.

Yes need to get nitrate and phosphate up at least to a reading.

Any small shrimps in the same tank?? My stylos, pocis and birdsnests (hystrix) would always have missing flesh at the tips and sometimes the sides due to my sexy shrimps.

Unfortunately no shrimps in my tank... as my predatory fishes ate them

Been running high KH for a while now.
My Phosphate is 2.0 (based on yesterday's test)

Only time my birdsnest was stressed was too much flow.

Thanks Pistondog, I am still very new to the hobby.. was under the impression that high Po4 will have a direct impact towards algae growth. Will it also have a negative impact toward coral health and growth as well?
