Help! Hammer coral not opening the same

I’ve had this hammer for about 3 months and the past few days it has started not openi mg all the way and closing up around the top what is happening?

Kh 8 cal 420 don’t have a mag test but Kh and cal don’t get consumed so I magnesium shouldn’t be low nitrate at 15

I’m just gonna go out on a limb and say onset of BJD. Euphyillia are very susceptible to the Protozoa that kills it. I’m inclined to say that a full tank treatment of cipro is probably your only hope at saving it….if it isn’t already lost.

In medical terms, I believe prophylactically would be treating an entire tank with no animals presenting symptoms. If one coral has BJD, treating the tank would not be prophylactic in this case, because there is a disease present. @Tired most of the point of this thread is that Ciprofloxacin...
