HELP!!! HARVEY + FISH = MAJOR STRESS AND WORRY!!!!

PLEASE SOMEONE ANSWER ASAP!!!
i might have to leave in a few hours, i'm currently not home but i do have power. hurricane harvey is causing me to leave out of town AND I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO WIFH MY TANK!!!! i canf check on them and most likely i'll lose power for days. I don't know what to do please someone answer asap i need to know!!!!

Take care of yourself. This storm is terrible I won't even try to act positive about your tank even though I'm not a negative person at all. If you lose things I will gladly send you some of my own corals for free if you need a start to get back into it but I don't have a ton I can offer you. I wish you and your tank the best of luck though, really hope you don't lose too much. Be safe.

if you have a generator or battery backup, use it for your powerhead, heater, and lights. If not try to find one ASAP. If you are gone for days without checking on the tank you need a backup power supply. For now you will at least need a battery powered air pump to keep oxygen levels up while your Power is down. You will be OK for about 12 hours with no heat. Good luck!

If you happen to have a battery powered clip on fan... attach it to the side of the tank and angle it so the blades just touch the surface of the water. This will ensure you have air exchange at the surface and will create a very small amount of flow. What you'll lose in temperature is worth it. Otherwise, without some sort of generator or battery back up all you can do if keep yourself safe and hope for the best.

If you have to leave, and you have time safely, do a WC, make sure your ATO reservoir is full and switch off anything which could cause a problem if it fails... a doser being the classic example.

You need an air bubbler at least , then heater , then water pump and last is lught. Use your generator or battery in that priority,,. Prepare salt water for impending water changes if need be,,. Your personal safety is of utmost importance

thank you everyone for ur replies but all of the roads are shut down except one which is the possible one we'll be leaving on. i have a bubbler on but i honestly don't even know if it's on. i haven't been to my house in 3 days but my father has and he fed them... i dont even have a generator or battery.. it doesn't look like even a slim chance of success.. i just pray that somehow someway everything will be okay. thank you all for the advice.

hi everyone. i'm now home and i couldn't be more relieved!!! my fish are okay, i ended up losing power while i wasn't home but luckily nothing bad happened to the tank.

i also thank you guys for all the advice, my heart goes out to everyone whos facing harvey, and i also wish all texan reefers come home to a live tank. texas definitely made history with this hurricane!
