i dosed my display today , 5 ml per 20 gallon with prazi pro.

Within 10 minutes my fish started acting off.
I then realized my girlfriend dosed the tank last night, same amount, she told me last night but it didn’t sink in.

I can do an emergency 20 percent water change, will that help?

One wrasse is at the surface jetting around, another laying on bottom.

Water change and lots of added O2 asap. Prazi absorbs/uses lots of O2.
Yes you need to get oxygen in the water immediately aim powerheads at the surface add air stones in a pinch during a power outage one time I even put hydrogen peroxide in you have to research to see what a good safe dose would be of that I can't remember off the top of my head.

Just an update...came home from work about an hour ago, all fish , knock on wood, seem to be fine. The ones that were acting way off, the moyeri leopard, diamond tail flasher, hoodeded, are out and about swimming normally.

I only did a 10 percent water change earlier, not going to make much of a dent, but I guess it helped.

Would everyone tend to agree, having done it last week, Saturday, then again the following Friday and Saturday (albeit mistakenly again Saturday) I should be done with prazi pro and not hit it for a third time ?

Havnt seen flukes at all, just a preventative.

Done. 5-7 days after the first treatment to take care of eggs that hatched. Done. But then again there are some Prazi resistant flukes around these days. So observe for 10 days to make sure.

Yes. If it’s just a preventative then two doses a week apart should be fine.

Fair enough. Now dosing at 5 days, VS 7, is either fine, or Is one of those the silver bullet, and hope you guess right ?

Doesnt carbon also remove? Wrasse are always so sensitive I observe first and use metro over prazi

You should be fine but my recommendation would be to catch a fish in a week and do a freshwater dip to check for flukes just to make sure you don't have a prazi resistant strain
