Help. I think I got the wrong reagent. Can I still use it? Bottle that came with the kit is the one on left, HI772S. The bottle on the right, HI755S is the new one. Anyone know the difference? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hello @jsc The Hanna HI772S reagent is used for the ALK checker that reads in DKH and the HI755S reagent is used in the ALK checker that reads in PPM. I would contact Hanna and ask them if you can use the opposite reagent in the opposite checker and just convert.

You should be fine. I’ve been using the dKH reagent for my PPM checker for some time now woth no issues. Based on this BRS Hanna Alk checker reagent description, they seem to be interchangeable.

Just called Hanna. It is the same solution - interchangeable. Just labeled differed! All is well, thanks
