Hello all,
I lost power to my 32gal bio cube during hurricane Irma. I tried desperately keeping it going, but couldn't and I'm sure I've lost all my livestock. This WAS my first saltwater tank and it was running successfully for almost nine months. My question is; is the live rock or sand salvageable? If so, what would that process look like?

Thank you!

Basically your starting over. Wash the rock, sand and other stuff till it's clean and free of detritus. Then put it back together and start your cycle all over from scratch. No need to throw anything like rock out, just clean and re-cycle it. Sorry your going thru this because of mother nature but stuff happens, all we can do is move on. Make sure to thoroughly clean all your plumbing tubes, pipes, etc. as well as scrubbing the tank out well. Good luck, I'm sure your tank will be even better this time around.

Thank you very much. I kinda figured that was going to be the case. I guess now I can put what I've learned to better use!
