Help!! I am moving. How do I take my tank?

Hello everyone,
I am moving 9 hours away by car. I will be in this place for at least 2 1/2
Years as I complete my graduate program. I am thinking taking the tank with me is the best option. Any suggestions on the best way of doing this? How do I keep the temp and the water oxygenated? I was thinking of puting all the live stock in big plastic storage containers. But I am concerned about temp and keeping everything alive. Any suggestions or advice will be appreciated.

I wont go into the minutiae of moving a reef but I did it successfully in 2013 by prepping and setting up a large tank at a friends seeded with filter media from my tank well in advance. I moved all of my livestock there and kept it there for several months while I took down and moved my system to my new house.

It's a 56 gallon tank. I have two clown fish, a meleanarus wrasse, two cromis and a fire fish

battery powered air stones for the fish kept in separate buckets and heat some water in jugs to keep in the water for the move try out a test to get temp of bottle right to maintain target temp as close as possible beforehand

Go fish shop and ask for fish bags and get polystyrene box and fish heat pads. That can be for fish and coral.

But then ur properly gunna need a box for the live rock submerge in water to stop as much dye off as possible. Then try and store as much water as u can and have new water ready as u might as well do a water change.

Then when u get to ur new place ur gunna need to quarantine the fish and corals for a little while.

But most important thing is to plan and not rush. Write it all down if possible. Thats what i did. Good luck
