Hi!!! I'm new to this forum and hobby, have had my tank set up for about 4-5 months... Started getting some zoanthids lps and easy sps not too long ago and while I was scouring the 5$ frag tank at my Lfs I saw a small zoa Rock that I liked. Took it home, dipped it and as I was gluing it to a rock to put in the tank I noticed one of the zoa stalks looked funny. Upon closer examination I noticed it wasn't a soft zoa at all it was a small lps skeleton with a little bit of flesh sticking out. Assuming it was just closed up i careful cut it free of the zoa frag and glued it separate from the Zoas... A few days later it is out and opened up still only the size of a small zoa/paly but I have fed it and it eats and is doing well but I have no clue what this thing is??? I have a pretty good knowledge of types of coral as does my friend, who has been in the hobby for years and we are stumped! Any help or direction would be great thanks!!!

It might need some time to develop. I'm going to thru a guess out there for today and it's going to be a ................... elegance coral!

Keep spot feeding it and update this thread! I'd love to see this grow.
