Help I just got a torch coral

Hello I'm new in this hobby and already have 2 tanks I just bought a torch coral and have something inside is that normal or is a parasite ? Also my 100 gallon tank have a few centripide looks worm, that go out at night.

is it possible to take it out and get a better look?

Hard to tell from the pic/vid, but given the way it's retracting like that, I'm thinking some type of duster worm or possibly a larger hydroid
