HELP! I think I have Aiptasia

it came in on the chaeto, if you started sterile with everything else. No point in taking rock apart since if you have one, you will most likely have others, there might be some more that you cant see under rocks, in plumbing, equipment etc. Best bet is to get a fish, nudi or peppermint shrimp that will eat it. Some get very lucky and taking out the first one they find and it doesnt spread, but this is rare.

Would have to be a Filefish. I have a Red Coris Wrasse that would love some peppermint shrimp for dinner. lol

2 weeks ago I saw 2 aptasia in my drop off tank (of course I just lent a friend my kleini butterfly from that tank) and they’re gone Gone
Everyone has their own successful method
For sure. Many ways to be successful and the same method doesn’t work for everyone. I guess there are just too many variables making this more of an art than a science.

You got a pic of this butterfly from heaven?

You could stick a clump of frag paste over it. Its similar to glue but you can ball it up and smooth it over the aiptasia
Think I'm going to try and Nuke it with Kalkwasser paste then cover with some epoxy I used for the rock aquascaping to cover it. Then, cross my fingers...

Do not leave even 1 mm of that foot exposed or it'll grow back. Theyre literally like a hydra.

Obviously there are a lot of different approaches that are recommended, but only one solution that I have found to consistently work for me - F-Aiptasia from @Frank's Tanks. BRS also strongly recommends it as well:
