I have a cut on my thumb from working in the tank the other day, and today I was glueing down a small drag of frogspawn next to the mother colony on the rock and while I was holding it, after about 10 seconds I began feeling an intense burning/stinging pain in the cut. I pulled it away immediately and rinsed it really well with cool water. It still stings when I straighten my finger and the left side of my knuckle (where the cut is) is red. There is no scab on the cut so it stung the "fresh" skin. I know zoanthids are extremely poisonous but are frogspawn just as dangerous?
What should I look out for in case I have a reaction?

I've never heard of issues with frogspawn. I think you just got hit with that saltwater sting of an open wound. I've been stricken with zoas, which left welts on uncut skin, and put me in bed for 24 hours. I'd just keep an eye on your wound for redness, which is a sign of infection. Might what to hit it with a little triple antibiotic and see what happens.

That's the weird thing though, I had my hands in the tank before that and it felt normal. The cuts about 3 days old and I think the scab just fell off. But I didn't feel anything from the saltwater, that's why I am pretty sure it is because of the frogspawn. Thank you for your response!

Apply some peroxide to the area as soon as you notice a problem. Benadryl is used to alleviate allergic reactions. And triple antibiotic cream on a cut is wise.

Clean it out really well and keep a close eye on it. A couple years ago I got a bad infection in my right hand while moving my tank. The doctor said I was close to losing my hand. You'll know if it's that bad, and if it does get that bad, go to the ER pronto. This is a great hobby, but you have to be careful.

Put some dirt in it. /sarcasm
I think if you have a reaction, the best course of action would be to...go to the doctor, maybe the ER, depending. Not post on here seeking medical advice. How one person reacts to something may not be how you react. That way, if something goes wrong, you can subpoena and sue the doctor. Not us. :D
