I am having an ICH outbreak in my large display. It has proven to be a very virulent strain and has already taken out a few of my fish. I currently have a clownfish and a fox face in QT (salinity 28 ppt, copper power, CP). Can I put my fuzzy dwarf lionfish and my red bandtail wasp fish in there with them? This will allow my main display to go fallow.

What size tank is it. I would think you would be ok but I would be worried about the lion eating the clown if it will fit in his mouth?

They have lived together for years, it’s a 20L and the fuzzy dwarf and the clown are virtually the same size

I’m mostly concerned eith the lions being in the copersafe medicated tank.

Hopefully he can handle it. Maybe you can slowly increase the copper levels. Sounds like a pretty hardy fish.

Nothing worse than ich best of luck to you. I ended up breaking my tank down and starting over. Such a waste

Having my display empty until oct 1st is not something I’m looking forward to…. But I have never had an outbreak like this before. I think I might be having simultaneous Ich and Velvet.
