I think I have ich. One if my clowns have white spots on it so I grabbed ick meds that I have for freshwater but it says it can't be used on live rock which I have along with live sand. What should I do??? He even has white spots at the end of his tail.

Yes it does look like Cryptocaryans Irritans (marine ich).

Thank you I've also been reading the article that was givin to me earlier from the post above but I'm also reading something about using garlic as a treatment. Has anyone heard of this??

Well I feel so stupid right now I completely forgot that I can't use tap water for a marine system so when I get off work tonight I'm going to the store buying RO water and doing a 75% water change.

In my opinion it would be better to do smaller water changes of 5 to 10% more frequently. Garlic is not a treatment but rather may be an appetite stimulator and provide some boost to the immune system, there really is no scientific proof of either benefit just anecdotal evidence, but it sure can not hurt. Your best defense is read the links, know the parasites life cycle and proceed with only those scientifically proven treatments. There are no ReefSafe products you can buy that are effective, and no easy cure.

Thank you everyone for their help. I may be asking a lot of questions (different posts) and some of them may be somewhat the same, but I am taking in everyone's answers and replies and learning a lot.
