Help ID Algae.. It's taking over my new tank!

Hello fellow reefers, I'm in dire need of help indentifying this algae that has taken over most of the rock in my tank. The tank is around 2 months old. At first I thought it was a form of dinos but it doesnt look like any i've ever dealt with - this looks like fur covering the rocks (best way I can describe it). I understand that a microscope would be be very helpful in doing that but i'm hoping somebody has dealt with this form of algae before. I will post parameters when I get home from work. It's mostly green hair algae but there may be some turf algae or dinos in the mix as well (can't see clearly enough).

Oh wow, I was always under the impresson GHA would be more green. These hairs are more light brown/gold but I appreciate the quick response!

In the 3rd image you can see bright GHA on the top and what looks like either dinos or another type of algae below it.

I have this brown hair algae in my tank. I manually removed a lot of it and siphoned it at the same time about a week ago. Then I did a 3 day black out. I added Rowaphos at this time also. Week later it came back. Todays Nitrate is 0 phosphate .02 Last week after blackout both No3 and PO4...

It's part of photosynthesis... oxygen is "created".

Had that in my tank, the dinos go away on their own,i plucked larger strands of hair algae out of the tank and 3 months later there's barely any left
( of course my 0 po4 had something to do with that lol)

i believe that it can brown as well

I thought about it too, but it seemed to me tahat it wasn`t that intense to create much bubbles before

It allows you to save multiple quotes and insert them into a new message
