There are tons of these guys in my sump and I also see a few on my glass in my DT. I don’t have acros, but would like to get an ID on them and know if I need to try and eradicate them??

acoel flatworms for sure, look like the harmless amphiscolops fw that you see only one every once in a while.
Never seen populations like that though.

Thanks, guys. I’m not looking to dose anything to kill them, but is there any recommendation on how to get rid of them? I’ve heard certain wrasse might go after them, or should I just ride it out in hopes they’ll dwindle down over time?

Melenarus wrasse. But flatworm exit is best they will take over your tank if not controlled. When they die they leave a toxin in water.
Siphoning out as many as you can to starts with. I have dealt with them before flatworm exit is about the best way to get the under control. And also what you see multiply that by 5

Flatworm exit is great just FOLLOW DIRECTIONS and you will be fine. I have a SPS dominant tank and everything was great shrimp... Snails .fish no problems. If you go this route have active carbon and 20 percent water change ready after treatment.

+1 on acoel. Nuisance type. Melarurus or Lunare wrasse should eat them.

OP, these look to be harmless amphiscolops FW, they are not the dreaded brown/ red guys.

Only thing these will harm is copepods, population is probably correlated with the big pod population down there.

I wouldn't worry about them, they are cool critters to watch.

Does the acoel and the rusty colored planaria have the same body shape. They look the same to me ?? Thanks
Very similar

I’m nervous to use Flatworm Exit. I’ve kept various tanks over the years, but this is my first run in with flatworms and my first larger tank (130 DT, 40 sump). I made some poor choices when setting this big tank up and have had to resort to dosing a couple different meds recently. The tank is healthy and happy now, and I’m worried about stressing everything out again with Exit. I’m also reading that Exit can be a bad move with such a large population and natural die off or eradication with fish or a nudi doesn’t cause the toxin release Exit would in my situation.

Would anyone recommend a Blue Velvet Nudi? I’d imagine the best place for it would be my sump where the FW population is highest, then move it to the DT once the sump is cleared. Any cons to getting one?

Just siphon them out. Until you can come up with a natural way. That way you can at least keep population down a little.

OP-
Google image search - amphiscolops a d compare.

No need to worry or siphon these guys out, they are NOT the pest type that people are telling you they are, these are harmless pod eaters.

Let them be.
