Hello, guys! Unfortunately I can't post pictures for a few mins, but I was wondering how diverse branching/colonial hydroids are. I have a colony of small, less-than-one mm in diameter, palythoa looking hitchhikers. They have many small tentacles around their tiny mouths that have a green band. Does this description ring any bells? (pics in a few mins) Thanks!

Sounds like colonial hydroids.

They are indeed hydroids, thanks guys! I'll try super glue.

Yeah, but I've just never seen fluorescent green hydroids. Same stalk, tentacles and everything else. Thanks, KJ.

Epoxy can be used to smother Hydroids too. It would basically be like putting chewed up bubble gum over them. Eventually this will harden up and then you can build on top of that. GL.

Actually, yeah. They look like these hydroids.

Thanks, cloak, and its a shame, they're interesting. But yeah, they spread like wildfire.
