I can't seem to find anything like this in past threads or on Google.

I recently have been seeing a number of these in my tank. They grow quickly when other types of algae grows. They grow pretty long, and eventually break off. There are also a bunch of shorter ones in my tank. They are white and attach only to my sand and my rocks.

Likely feelers from scavenger worms But also similar to vermetid snail slime

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

So I looked into both vermetid snail slime and digitate hydroids and it doesn't look like either.

Regarding vermetid snails... Most pictures I found showed red-ish tubes. Can their tubes be white?

I've had one's with whiteish tubes with red bases in my tank.

Did you ever figure out what this was? I have the same thing in a newly cycled tank. So, it not likely worms or snails.
