Help I'd on this white thing on frag plug

so is that considered a pest snail ? if i scrape it all off & clean the plug would that get rid of it ? this is my qt tank i was gonna start moving frags into the dt today when i pulled them up for a close inspection i noticed this they have been in qt for two months, & i see this on a few of the plugs. i don't want to chance getting it in my dt if it's bad news. thanks!!!!
Serpula rather than Vermetid.

yup it's vermetid i did some searching after you id it & i have two bi color caulastrea coral i got from the lfs & they have a few of them on them i'm sure that's where it came from i have noticed once before when i moved them in the tank the mucous web from them but didn't realize what it was. thanks for the id i think i'm gonna take each coral out one at a time in a container of tank water & do the mid evil method of cut & scrape every spec off the plugs. & watch for a while to see if i get any more.
