Help ID pest can someone help

If you’re losing only acros it’s probably acropora eating flatworms. Treatments are to remove each acro and manually dip every five days to remove any worms that are currently in it and that will hatch in future. Another option is to start dosing Korallen-Zucht flatworm stop and coral booster. This stuff is supposed to make your acros unpalatable for the flatworms. These two products are products I have dosed into my tank since the start and seem to work very well

Where do I get those 2 products? BRS?

A hungry six line wrase can definitely help dwindle there numbers. I’d definitely dip any corals you see them on.

I’m setting up a qt tank tomorrow, removing all acros and dipping them. I’m assuming I will need to leave the acros in QT for a few weeks to be sure the flatworms are all dead. I’m also considering a 6 line or melanarus to throw in the display

The flat worm stop is recommended for at least 3 months

Yeah not having any acros in the tank will kill off any that might still be in there. Look them over good for eggs an remove them dips won’t kill them.

Well got all acros out and into QT. I dipped them in Bayer at 15ml per 1/2 cup of water. If I dip a couple times a week, how long should I keep them in the QT tank?

Flat worm stop says 3 months, basically you want to kill off all on the acros in the QT an wait out there life cycle in the DT. If you can keep the corals happy in the QT I wouldn’t rush getting them back in your display.

important to keep on the dipping regimen religiously, as people have said the lifecycle can be a few weeks and it can also vary depending on temp and other params. wrasses will help keep population to minimum or nill once you take care of the initial population.

Keep with the KZ flatworm stop, permanent use. It changes the way that the coral tastes to flatworms although this product is very unlikely to control existing populations it is a great way to prevent or at least add a few days/week to your coral lifeline time if any future infestations are discovered
