Hi all,
Just bought some live rock. Was told to put it in the tank, and to be careful with any critters.
There are around 10-15 of these. Are they asterina star fish? They have red, blue and white markings on the rear. Good or bad?
Do you guys know why they're just going to the top of the tank? Can they escape? Lol
This is Aiptasia, right? Any advice on how to remove it?
What is this pink stuff? It's all over the rock, looks a little like paint. I can't seem to find anything on any forum about this? Is it good or bad?
Under the impression this is a bristle worm. Good or bad?
I have absolutely no idea what this is. Please advise. Looks like a woodlouse, but underwater... What is it?!
These all came from one live rock. Should I remove it before it causes irreparable damage to the reef tank? Currently, there are no fish. Just cycling the tank with live rock.
Another live rock came with what looks like an anemone. Are you able to ID this for me? Is it good or bad to have in a reef tank? Will it grow bigger or spread etc?!
Any advice and guidance for the future would be much appreciated. Thanks!
