Does anyone have an idea what’s on my coral?

It looks like a type of sponge to me but I’m not sure. Sponges come in all sorts of colors and textures. Sponges are mostly harmless if not benefiting filter feeders.

Thanks,seems to be irritating my coral I’ll try doing a coral dip hopefully it bounces back up!
