Hi, I am hoping you guys can help me out and ID this stuff growing in my tank, it only grows around my war coral and it used to pop up in the other tank I had. It comes and goes and I can’t seem to figure out what causes it. It is white and fibrous. I have attached a picture of this white string. It comes off really easy when I pull on it. Additionally I have never seen it pop up any where except by the war coral.
A little about tank. I have a 65g Red Sea under 26 AI hydras. It has been up for just over a year. I have attached a picture of my water test results as well. The only one that doesn’t show is PH and I have a probe that tests that and it is at 8.1
