Help ID, possible Chiton?

Saw this guy slowly crawling down a rock and burried itself in the sand. I have been trying to ID it and I think it may be a Chiton and that would be good, but it could possibly be some sort of worm or parasites?

Picture is pretty bad but it's the best I could get before he went in the sand, would appreciate any input.

I have to stop looking at the tank once the lights go off, I seem to always find the weirdest critters in there; I just noticed the snow storm of pods going on in there too!
