Help id something on zoas

I just found this white thing on the zoas. I temporarily removed the zoas from the tank just in case its bad. Sorry, this is the best picture I could get. Any idea on what this could be? Thanks for the help

Very fuzzy but I too make out sponge
 
It’s white sponge you can pick it off by hand. Just remember anytime you are disturbing Zoa’s be aware of Pally toxin.
 
You can pick off with tweezers or by hand
 
Thank you, I’m going to try and get rid of it, it seems to irritate/smother the zoas so its gotta go

I’ll look into that, thank you. Worst case, the zoa colony is on a frag plug, I can just cut that section off. They are just plain green zoas so if I lose a few it’s not terrible.
