Hi everyone,

I have a small 20 liter tank, that is 2 and a half months old, and today this strange worm has appeared suddenly while I was feeding my clownfish. A piece of the food had fallen to the sand and it came out to grab it. I was quick enough to take a shot of it so you guys can help me identify if possible. Is this creature a threat to my pico reef?? :squigglemouth:

Looks like a bristle worm. Natural clean up crew. The more available nutrients(food, fish waste, etc) the more there will be. But not a bad thing

Thanks for the replies!! So should I leave the worm or get rid of it?? I just dont want them all over the place you know... I'm searching for more info on the internet now that I know its name

Just leave it. It's part of your Eco system. Those clowns aren't going to go picking up after themselves, so somebody has to. As long as your not over feeding they will not reproduce as much. It's a good thing to have.
