Help ID the problem parasite Orange shoulder tang

Orange shoulder tang didn’t have this on its front gill yesterday. Just noticed the spot today right before lights turning on. I have ParaGuard that I can use to treat it but before I do so what could this be?
It was swimming just fine then started rapidly breathing. It still swimming but haven’t seen it eaten when I dropped food in before lights turning on. I have two orange shoulder tangs in this tank.

The picture is too fuzzy for me to get a good idea.
Looks like a prime candidate for fresh water dip though.

It sticks out right? I can't tell if it's just a scratch or something sticking out of him.

Yes it sticks out,
it just flew behind rock work so now it maybe harder to get out.

I’m doing a 1 hour dip in ParaGuard. Not sure what parasite or issue this is but hopefully it works. And will continue to monitor it

Pics are fuzzy but can Possibly be an isopod or even injury. If you see it moving- then isopod. Often a FW dip May help it detach as well as praziPro but prazi is a gamble as is FW dip

Paraguard pretty much useless despite its claims. FW safe and just as if not more effective

for fresh water dips how often and how long? I don’t think it will fall of or go anywhere any time soon. I posted a new pic

5 mins (aerated if you wish) with tap water same temp as display tank. I never recommend pulling anything off if its a though and may take repeated attempts to dislodge what you have without stressing the fish

I have it back in it’s own tank. I don’t think it’ll make it. Very weird something like that pops up out of nowhere. Crazy thing I passed up on buying a cleaner wrasse. But yea this sucks. Hopefully I got this one out in time before others got infected

Cleaner wrasse may have not help. Anytime near the gills- the risk increases.
If fish is effected that much- then try to dislodge with a tweezers carefully as a last minute method and increase oxygen

Didn’t try the tweezers I tried using a soft tooth brush
