I just recently went Petco and found some corals there to be a little interesting. Under their white lights they looked washed out and grim. I decided to take give them a try and for the price of $10 each, I did not have anything to loose.
After dipping and acclimation I dropped them in the tank and about 24 hrs later they opened to almost double the size. :D

Please help me ID these.
Thanks in advance.

Looks like a flowerpot coral to me. I can never spell the scientific name right, so I won't even try.

Image #1 appears to be Goniopora.
Image#2 Alevopora.

Twenty four tentacles per polyp head=Gonio
Twelve is Alevopora.

2nd definitely Alveopora 12 tentacles
1rst now that I look at it close Goniopora.
Thanks guys!
