I've been told it's diatoms, and Dino
But what specific Dino, so I know what approach to take to defeat it.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks in advance

If your system is newer, this is a stage of cycling :) watch you nitrates and phosphates. Your nitrates should be around 3 to 5 ppm if they are a little higher that is fine too. Phosphate should be .02 ppm or low but not 0 if you are growing corals you will need a trace of phosphates in the system for help growth.

If you nitrates are high use a carbon source to dose, a easy one Red Sea NoPox if you phosphates are high use GFO to bring them down.

The system is about to be 4 months old.
I use the Red Sea test kit
My nitrates are at 1-2
Phosphate .08
Could my phosphate be the problem?
