got this "pink-line polynesian wrasse" from PEA and am waiting for an email or call back on specific information from their manifest

does anyone know the species and genus of this fish. everything online came back to PEA and wanted to learn more about it from other folks' experience besides what i was told about it from PEA.

this is the wrasse in question -

i was told it was reef safe but might pick on inverts and was housed with a black tang and hawkfish. was looking for more specific individual experiences about temperament, size, sex color morphing characteristics, reef compatibility, etc.

thanks for any information you can provide!

Thalassoma Quinquevittatum
Pink face or Five stripe wrasse

Beautiful fish man, good luck!

thanks gentleman. that's it!

anyone with personal experience with it?

mike j - based on what i'm seeing it looks too aggressive for where i'm at in this stage of the build. i'll sell the pretty thing to you for what i paid if you're serious and have an appropriate home for it.

Great fish will be the last wrasse I add to my tank. And yes as the grow they may eat your cuc as most wrasses will do I have over 15 wrasses in my DT every once in awhile I have to re-up on cuc speaking of that I have to do it soon just have no found the time yet.

The Lord is good.

thanks greenstreet. reupping on the snails and cuc isn't a big deal but it's apparent temperament is. still reading first hand experiences now that i know the species and genus.

It's beautiful but I have one mean wrasse already. Don't guess I need another one.
