I'm looking to find somewhere All the Asterina SP, list to ID them, and t read about, because I have green, have brownish, have brown with red dots, few different, the brownish I have it since 2 years ago and never got issue with them. The rest I just have them in separate tank, keeping them before ID them. If they are good too, I'll put them in the DTAsterina starfish
Here's what was told to me years ago....and don't know the truth. If they are white to light colored, they are reef safe. I have them in my tank and never noticed any issues. Now here's the other part....if they are dark colored, they are potential coral eaters.
Most reproduction is simply splitting in half. Not uncommon to find some with two or three arms. And watch out, they multiply fast.
