Help ID this odd white junk?

I have this kinda odd algae starting to grow over my rocks and corals. It's kinda fibrous, white / grey color. I'm treating with fluconazole in case it's a type of bryopsis but I'm really not sure. Any help is appreciated.

Thinking about hydroids here.
If you look under your hammer you can see them.
Maybe the reason your Duncan’s are in distress too
 
Don't think they're hydroids, but I could be wrong. It's tough to see in the pic but they appear to be some type of plant matter. They don't move or act like a critter when they're touched.
