received_344737936366432.jpeg Its sandwiched between the frag disks on the right. It looks to be yellowish green in spotty color, a mouth in the center, and has tentacles that retract into itself when I poke at. This frag plug has been placed in the sand for a few months. I just moved it up to this rack 2 days ago and noticed this little thing hiding within the crevice. Any ideas???

If the ends of the tentacles are white little balls and the mouth is somewhat white striped, it’s a ball anemone. Looking at it on my phone and it’s hard to see closely, but does look like a ball anemone.
Looking at other images online of ball anemones I would have to agree. I'm unsure what to do with it.

Well they aren’t really reef safe, but I have a few in my 90 and they don’t cause much trouble. Yet I had some in my zoa grow out tank, and they would populate all crazy like and kills zoas. So, it’s really up to you. They can spread like wild fire, but from my experiences, not like apstasia or majanos.

But if it bugs you, a glob of super glue gel around the whole plug will kill it.

Meant to add you can probably get a better look at it about an hour after lights out. Mine expand a little once the lights have been out for a bit.

On the other side of that plug is an OG bounce mushroom that hasn't fully expanded since I got it over a few months ago. I wonder if this is part of the reason it expanding after lights out and maybe irritating it. 20190102_202109.jpg

On top the frag plug next to mushroom you have a Hydroids is what stings your mushrooms and it prevents it from being fully expended.
