Need help identifying this growing around one of my small Zoa colonies. Do I need to do something or is it maybe some type of sponge? New to reefing and reef2reef

It’s looks like a sponge. Not sure on type.

Definitely a sponge. White light may help to ID the type.

Thank you, should I try removing it or as long as the zoas are opening up will it be ok
