Please help ID. My torch just closed up today and now there is this black looking hair algae in the tentacles. Tank parameters have been stable for a long time.

Coral constipation? I just shut off pumps, pulled it out with tongs and sucked it up. Doesn’t look like algae. Coral poo?

Keep some cipro on hand just in case, in my experience it’s been a life saver, can be used as a full tank treatment and a dip. I’ve watched a tank full of torches melt away within a week and cipro was the only thing that saved the rest.
