Help id two hitchhikers

I found these in a new order of dwarf ceriths and hermit crabs.

Can anyone help me id, good or bad?

Dwarf cerith and habits of a conch but dont think it is- need to see bottom

The hermit crab hitchhiker looks like a barnacle. Not sure on the Cerith snail one.

^Agreed - the one on the hermit is a barnacle; I can't see the one on the dwarf cerith well enough to help there.

The shell is only 3/8” long. I put 3 drops of reef roids in the water and it came back out.

Whatever it is, it ate the cerith snail so probably not a good one to keep around.

You're probably right. Glad I went thru them before putting them in my tank. Thanks.

Looks like the snout of a cone snail that Would eat other snails

Yeah thats probably a peanut worm living inside the cerith shell
