Help ID weird rock worm and possible aiptasia please!

Hi - got a couple ID’s I need help with.

1st is there are a few of these weird looking worm-like creatures protruding from my rock. Only a handful so far, any idea what this is and if I need to do anything about it?

2nd I think this is aiptasia underneath one of my blasto’s - my thought is I would smother him with coral glue/coral gum - can you confirm this is aiptasia and the approach Im taking? Haven’t been able to spot more just yet.

Worm thing looks like a sponge of some sort.
Hard to make out if that’s a nem or feather duster under the blasto. I think it’s a duster.

I can’t ID the worm (if it is a worm). The ‘Aiptasia’ is either an aiptasia or a fan worm/feather duster. Smothering it with super glue will work, it only really works with really small aiptasia. I found a tiny one in my tank yesterday and glued it. You want to make it retract, put a good blob of glue on it, and then wait a minute for the glue to kind set and then press it in with your finger so that it really adheres to the rock and gets into all the nooks and crannies. The one I did yesterday was right on the edge of an Acan enchinata, and I was able to seal it in and smooth it over so that the glue doesn’t really stand out (or it won’t once some alge grows on it).

Okay cool! Would you say the one I have falls into that small enough range? I was thinking Ill just pull the frag rock out of the tank so the aiptasia retreats - then glue the spot, let it sit for a minute or two, and stick a little more coral gum over the glue for good measure.
