Help ID white tubes

Hi,

any idea what could those white tubes in my tank?
Time to time I am observing white worms in the display tank

please help.

I think it’s got to be some type of a polyp coral? but none of the polyps are out so can’t really tell.

I'd love to know - I have a skeleton of this on one of my pieces of live rock and I was always curious to know what it used to be
