Hello Reefers

Would be possible to help ID what's taking over the rocks ,I know there is bubble algae in the tank I added 2 emerald crab and im afraid if I try to clean it it would go worse ,also dealing with high phosphate now ,I was advised by LFS to do large waterchange .

Thanks

Appears to be a little cyano. Your phosphate isn’t to bad, I agree some water changes should help. If the phosphate bound to the rock keeps leaching you could throw some gfo in. Look for the source and correct it if you can. A couple of examples, over feeding or mixing saltwater with water containing phosphates.

Hey there. It looks like your tank is relatively young and you are just going through the uglies. Keep up with water changes for nutrient export and ride it out. Consider running GFO or phosguard, but go low and slow. Hard yo tell, but agree there may also be some cyano going on. Manual removal /siphon with WC's.
