Yes as stated in the main post, she ate yesterday and today she hasn't eaten. She was very fat as of last night around 10 when lights went off, I have no idea how she could have gotten so thin in such a short amount of time but she ate twice yesterday.

Looks like ich. Could be brook. Could be an infection. Can you give a more clear picture of the treatment this tank and these clowns have gone through to date please? From the start of treatment to now, what have you done for them? What meds did you use, how long and what concentrations did you use? Thanks!

+1 ich

She died last night.. It wasn't ich. Like I said if it was ich the copper would have killed it, and it did. My fish are ich free, I guess after the ich was gone they developed something new and my bet is, is that it was brook because it killed her so fast after she showed signs yesterday. It just really sucks because everyone else is doing fine and now the male is still alive and I want him to have a partner.. I'm not rushing into buying another fish so I'm gonna wait and make sure everyone is ok and maybe get another clownfish in a few weeks and just extend their QT time.

Also if need be, I have pictures of her body out of the water. It's very white in some areas. I'm guessing due to the parasite. But hopefully that'll help further ID what she had. And hopefully so that now we can make sure we're properly treating the other fish in QT that we're with her.

Sorry for ur lost and u know it happens in this hobby.
Thanks and yes I know it all too well.. we've lost many fish but after so many trails and errors it gets a little frustrating and upsetting at times but we'll push through and hope all the other fish will be fine.

It's usually better to take pictures in the water and especially while they are still alive or right after death. Once they've died and are out of the water it can change a lot that we see making it very very difficult to tell anything at all.

I'm very sorry for your loss :(

Very true, I didn't think about taking one in the water at the time.. And she was most likely dead for a few hours while I was asleep, since I found her dead this morning. But all we can do now is watch the rest of the fish and if I see any signs of the others acting weird I'll post right away and try to figure out what's going on but so far everyone else is fine and all eating good so hopefully CP will help.. Only time will tell I guess.

Thanks though, it sucks that she died but I'll just have to hold off on wanting to buy another one for the other clownfish, until I know for sure whatever she had no one else has.
