Swimming up and down in a corner could mean a lot of different things. Is he in a QT or your DT? Anyone picking on him? Is he a new addition?

its in my dt hes not showing signs of parasites no one picks on him its been in my tank for a couple months now he doesnt do it all the time he does eat fine

Does he receive aggression from any of your other fish?

not that i ever see

I would take the wait & see approach. Because what you are describing isn't enough to diagnose any disease that I am aware of. You'll have to wait for additional symptoms to manifest, if they do.

i will say he has been doing this for a couple weeks if not maybe alittle bit longer

i thought he was just acting weird
poop is normal also

Also on a side note off my fish topic but still on fish disease topic i called my lfs and was talking about setting up a qt and he said that they are useless and that ich is bascially a myth and that the ich is cause from stress and that if you remove the stress there wont be ich i just dont understand how a lfs would say that makes zero sense to me

Most LFS are fish flippers. Their objective is to keep the fish alive long enough for you to buy it. What problems arise after that (incompatibility with other livestock, disease, fish refuses to eat, etc.) is quite frankly, your problem to solve. This is just how a business person has to look at these things. The best you can hope for is the LFS sells useful medications/foods for you to buy, because that makes them more money.

I got a melanarus wrasse thats swimming up and down a tank in a corner is it a infection bacterial or what? if so what can i do for it. @melypr1985 @Humblefish

For what it's worth, my leopard wrasse did this same thing when my tank was still new. When the algae started covering the glass on the side of the tank (she couldn't see her reflection anymore) she stopped the behavior.
