They look like small white fuzzy tuffs on my live rock, mostly in shaded areas, and all are small in size. I tried to find some answers online not sure if it could be bacteria, fungus, sponges or something else? At first I thought maybe my oldest mushroom had babies but I don’t think that’s it. Tank is about 10months old
Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you DQM5,Are there good and bad sponges? I took a closer look and there a quite a few of them in different areas.

Could they hitchhike on a coral frag? I haven’t added any new rock but I did add a couple new coral frags over the past few months, although I did dip them before adding to the tank

Hmmm maybe that’s where they came from. Should I leave them be then? This is the first time I’ve had sponges

They are a good part of a tank ecosystem, but if they bother you then you could try and remove them, but I don't know why you would?

I don’t mind having spongebob and his buddies hanging out lol
I worry too much when it comes to the tank
I don’t know much about sponges, I’ll start looking more into them
Thank you guys for all the help!
