Found this in the front of our tank this evening and I am not for sure what it is.

Looks like an aptasia and it’s foot is in the glass

I also think the same as @saltyfilmfolks: It's Aptasia. Quick... Kill it! It's in the perfect spot to suck it out of the tank with a strong suction hose before it spreads! Make sure the hose is tight up against the glass so you get all of the foot. Even a tiny piece left behind will regrow and multiply! They move around your tank stinging everything they touch. Believe me, you don't want it taking over your tank. It's near impossible to get rid of Aptasia once it's established in a tank.
