I was trying to post the video but it won’t how do I load it
Upload video to YouTube then share link here.
Some reason sharing videos straight from phone to r2r often doesn't work and videos need to be hosted somewhere else first .
Goodluck on the id

Got it

Look up eunicid worm or dorvidea worm ( unsure correct spelling)
And while you there look up bristleworm.
It's hard to see in blues on camera but maybe you seen it better in person or will see again.
Not all eunicid worms grow to 12 foot fish/ coral eating bobbit worms ha ha
I filmed one same as yours or similar at least as there 100' s of similar.
If I only had one I've managed to get it out but more than likely was more ha ha

Video shows a worm moving way faster than I've ever seen a bristleworm move (but who knows which species do what).

No guess other than "some kind of wormish thing",,, sorry.

Not a brittlestar. Some type of worm. Thinking dorvilleidae. but can't be sure. Too fast and blurry.

Don't think so - looks like a bristleworm (definitely a worm though).
Check out the color bands and taper to a point. Put a piece of food near and see how he wraps it up.

does the tenticle look familiar? I took it with the blues for comparison.

I honestly can't see anything (probably too early).

In the middle. In the middle of a paly. I shoulda done a better job on the pic. Lol. Hope it is a star leg instead of a worm.
I'm still not seeing it, but don't feel bad. Brittle starfish don't move like that - it's almost certainly a worm of some sort.

I didn't see the video. My bad. It looks spikey and banded in that last blurry pic. I'll look again. Thanks
